Agree. Whole foods should be the staple of a healthy diet.
When you are fat you need to cut down carbs for a while to allow cells to into burning fat for fuel. Keto diet is a very useful tool to loose weight but not yet proven to be healthy long term. Carbs are not unhealthy if sourced from wholefoods since they will always come with the one very important thing keto diets lack: fiber.
Nothing wrong with carbs if they are from whole foods.
Untrained men thinking they can beat a woman just because they are a woman is idiotic and unfortunately rooted in sexism.
I had the opportunity to read more about tennis history, more specifically about the “battle of the sexes” and it’s not as skewed with women also winning against top 10 ranked players.
Only the other person can do that.
I offered my take for two reasons: trying be more active on Lemmy and because that comment had me learning something new today.
Reading that the top Womens tennis player couldn’t beat a man that is not even in the top 200 sounded fishy to me and I was surprised when I learned that is true.
Relearned also something today, I can’t tell what other people think,.speacilly on social media and shouldn’t try to guess what that is.
I went and looked it up and both sisters did lose by a large margin against the man ranked 204th, back I “the battle of the sexes” in 1998.

Edit: since learned that throughout all the “battle of the sexes” matches in Tennis, Women have won against top players so the gap is much smaller than I first realized.
Ahahahahhahaa that had me actually Laughing Out Loud!!
Worth noting that the value for Portugal refers to the Pico mountain Azores, not on the Continent.
