    It’s incredible that two separate people found it necessary to type out the same thought, ignoring the same incredibly simple and indisputable point that Kayuga’s situation is practically identical to the president’s except for her being better at languages and a billionaire with all the resources it implies.

    The romcom can have a silly bit of fake drama, bros, it’s okay.

      For me the frame of discussion is different, it’s not about the anime being silly, but rather about what the meme was trying to convey.

      Someone being confused about a Japanese person facing a language barrier constitutes an explanation in my opinion.
