    Is it about complexity though? Gachiakuta isn’t complex at all (although pretty fun) and JJK is just random BS the author wrote on the fly (Makes for crazy visuals but you never know the stakes so it dampens tension a lot).

    It can be pretty funny, though. Especially in Gachiakuta’s case. Really reminded me of the gun draw scene in Indiana Jones which probably popularized that joke.

    However I only found it upsetting in JJK’s case and a little gut wrenching in Fate’s case here. I didn’t think those moments were supposed to be funny at all.

        And his “wand” is a massively heavy piece of metal nobody was able to move it for a 1000 years or something. He just casually picked it up 😆

      Which is funny because in dragon ball mini goku had no problem with guns, just a little sting, which is the same reaction 300 episodes later, where he survives stupid as ki blasts which destroyed whole cities.
