Unfortunately I landed on some spoilers (someone said on Mastodon: “the episode with the X”), so when I saw where the event took place, I figured out what was happening to her.
That said, as a longtime fan of Xs, I’ve been burned by bad productions, effects and overall story. This episode felt really well made in all aspects. I loved the parallel with the characters’ careers and the situation. That last moment was so good.

I also really enjoyed Mazey Day especially because it felt like my expectations were being subverted The reveal really surprised me.
