I have bought watches from Japan before and the packaging and presentation was outstanding. I also got a hand-written thank you letter! Such a thoughtful country.

According to the commenter above you, it’s even better than that because it’s an anagram of the band menbers’ initials (IN, MM, TS, AJ).

For reference, it’s a really good band and Mint Jams is awesome! Specially if you like upbeat jazz with keyboard, synth, and electric guitar, sometimes sax.

Although a lot more people, specially weebs, have heard the first song on that album than have ever heard of the band. As it’s common on playlists in the City Pop genre(if you like the first song, look up more city pop. )

    Fun facts:

    • The album is actually remixed live recordings with the audience mostly removed and without re-recording/dubbing any instruments, and recorded with the intent to make studio quality. So it sounds amazing.

    • The “mint” part does in fact refer to the songs/album being “mint”, meaning good. The “jams” part actually references that it’s live recordings as well.

    • On top of that it is also an arragement of the band members first and last initials(IN, MM, TS, AJ).

    • Released in 1982 it was their seventh album, second live, and after having released ~40 albums in total. It is still considered their best.

That was incredibly enjoyable. Thank you. I never would’ve looked that up myself, and after I listened to 40 minutes of jazz I am now relistening to it with my partner. We’re making tea and jamming out!

I bought this record immediately after finding it in a record ship in Japan because of this green text. It slaps as promised.

I’ve had a similar experience myself. I bought a Japanese handcrafted knife.

I bought Japanese condoms( they are called 001) and it feels fantastic compared to the rubber bands condoms we have here.

Each time it comes with gifts or extra condoms or both. I love Japanese people.

Japanese condoms are known for being great for sensitivity, but slightly smaller than American condoms. I mostly got complaints of tightness when I tried to share them with American men. Still, great condoms.

If you get the 001 but in L(large) it’s basically the average American size. So that’s what I use.
