The DM was a DM asking us to change our no tankies policy and remove the fuck tankies banner as it was apparently upsetting hexbear users. Apparently tankies view the word tankie as a form of slur. The admin wants us to ally as a form of “left solidarity”
Will we? Im not a progressive and I believe in as limited government intrusion into personal lives as is possible for all to safely be who they are. Im fully in favor of equal rights for all people.
Im not arguing for rent control, a massive reduction in debt for the upper middle class and above through universal college loan forgiveness, nor am I in alignment with a group like fuckcars. Im liberal but not progressive.
I stand corrected.
There are a lot of us in the USA who are liberal but do not see ourselves in line with Sanders, AOC, Pressley et al on economics.
