    Fun fact: Plato’s refined definition, “featherless biped with flat nails” actually stands up quite well in the face of modern zoology: Flat nails are exclusive to primates and we happen to be the only habitually bipedal primate. The “featherless” should be “bald”, though, other primates don’t have feathers either.

      I’d say bald doesn’t work as though we don’t look to have much hair, we are quite hairy

      Featherless works quite well even though other primates don’t have feathers either
