There can be too much trash in many places, don’t feel like you’re being excluded.

Stories like this are why I love the kink community (most of the time). There have been very few incidents in the community I’m currently a part of, and the times there have been issues, the community was quick to circle wagons and eject the troublemaker.
One bad act will undo years of good will, we see this constantly irl. Why do you think the mods deserve any benefit of the doubt from people when they unilaterally chose to make a bad decision with no input from the community? If the community can’t trust them to act in their best interests, they’re absolutely well within their rights to demand they step down or move to the replacement community. Because of they’re going to do this once, what are the odds they actually learn the correct lesson and don’t do this kind of shit again?
You’re always going to have someone that doesn’t like a rule, but I’d much rather bitch about a rule that the community voted on that have to deal with the mercurial whims of the mod team.
My son (diagnosed with the tsim but too young for his inevitable adhd diagnosis) gets very disregulated after eating items high in sugar or after having too much screen time. No clue why, he just becomes a little asshole and takes his energy out on the people and animals around him. Thankfully the screen time issue has gone down from “any” to more than 20-30 minutes so he can occasionally watch educational kids programming.
Count yourself lucky you don’t have to deal with that. It’s maddening at the best of times, especially when all the experts we talk to say we’re already doing everything they recommended…
Do you live in letterkenny?
Same for the Kink community as well
Yes, very coincidental that the pedestrian crossing lines only go half way across the width part way through the intersection.
That one is amazing. Other good albums are mc chris goes to hell, mc chris is dreaming, and Race Wars. Dungeon master of ceremonies is another good one, as are the 3 part 6 albums.
Sealab will always have a special place in my heart for introducing me to Hesh Prince mc chris. ATHF is a close second (and I’ll always get the ending to ‘I Want Candy’ wrong).
…Aaaaand there go my nipples again!
Not when invested properly. Using easy examples, if you win a million dollars and take it over 30 years, say you’re taxed 20%, you get $800k. You choose to take a lump sum and they only give you 30% of the value, you get $300k. Investing that $300k at 5% over 30 years, you’ve got an additional $55k over what you would have gotten over the same time period. Now, the average market return rate is closer to 3-5% higher than that, so that 5% return is a conservative estimate of what you have after fees and pulling some out for yourself (3% is a recommendation I’ve heard), putting you well above what you’d get from the annuity.
People investing any amount of money with someone need to make sure they’re using a fiduciary advisor, because they are supposed to act on your best interests with your money. Non-fiduciary advisors can funnel your money into vehicles that enrich them at your expense.
That’s literally the first part I eat
No, not all violence is physical, and while systemic violence can be violent, it very often isn’t. But it’s any damage or harmful action that’s carried out through normal operation.
Systemic violence against the poor includes economic and social violence, like tax cuts, safety regulations repealed, or social programs being shutdown. None of these forms of systemic violence are physical, but it’s yet another metaphorical hit against people who can barely stand as it is. The racism baked onto the system (shit like redlining) isn’t necessarily physically violent, but it hurts and kills people all the same. Hell, the UHC guy getting killed and everyone cheering is because shit like the insurance industry is systemically violent against its consumers.
The nonviolent forms of systemic violence due regularly lead to physical violence, such as houseless populations being rousted and their encampments torn down because it’s easier to be cruel than suffer the eyesore and help people.
More than likely. I sent the gif to my (sca heavy) friend group, and that was the first response.
Yeah, everyone gets upset about physical violence, but so few people care about the systemic violence perpetuated against the lower classes.
Man, think about how much better the world would be if insurance companies were automatically audited with greater than 5% denials.
Looooool mfer can’t even sit down. His assless ass touches the ground, he becomes fungus food.
