We have open white supremacist talking points being spouted by top republicans and the goddamned president, and they implemented immigration policies that dropped allowed immigrants from tons of countries but made sure Rhodesia South Africa got special treatment. Whether or not you’re smart enough to see reality and stop defending actual propaganda making you think you’re not supporting a far-right ideology, everyone else can see it for what it is and will gladly call you on it. You do you, but there are some sentences that tell you everything you need to know about a person. Like there are sentences that tell you that someone’s judgement or opinion is flawed or non-existent, so their argument should be treated as such and discarded with minimal merit.

Saying “it’s dangerous to be in the majority ethnicity” and not giving any examples is one of those for me.

It’s easy to get lumped into a group one doesn’t self identify with or whose behaviors don’t agree with if one happens to use similar verbage.

It is, and if that’s something that happens frequently, you may want to consider your thoughts and actions to determine if you need to change yourself or how you self identify.

Because frankly, how you self identify means jack shit to an outsider. All they care about are your statements and actions, and if you’re getting lumped in with the wrong crowd, self reflection is necessary.

I literally did that when I started my current gig, because they were doing so many things manually that were trivially automated and didn’t require a three page checklist and multiple hours of time. Within 3 months I took a 4-5hr/instance task into a 30 minute one that also gives you 80% of the shit you need to check off on the QA sheet.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I fucking hate how many people are just watching shit burn. But that’s not a reason to give in and let the fires get bigger, that’s no better than the people who stand by and do nothing.
