He’s a Wizard, Harry.
He’s a Wizard, Harry.
It’s like an Imperial Star Destroyer, but with grossly unregulated capitalism.
It’s weird how far it spreads man, back when I was still on Reddit I was banned from r/LateStageCapitalism for taking the audacious position that a nation that actively suppresses information, operates internment camps, and engages in totalitarian and dystopic surveillance of its populace is not an ideal model of government.
GEORGE IS GETTING UPSET!
I guess I’m the odd one out when I say I fully support this decision. I do not trust Meta, I Do not trust their intentions, and they have given me no reason to trust them.
Thanks Beehaw.
I had a realization last night.
Used to spend a lot of time on reddit on ttrpg subreddits reading about how other people were running their games instead of working on my own campaigns. Now, a lot of the time I would have spent reading about how someone else was doing the thing I wanted to, I’m just doing it. The dynamic is inverted.
This is what healing looks like.
If you figure it out, would you kindly tell me? I have absolutely no idea.
This seems way too unlikely to happen, but r/askhistorians. It’s an exceptionally well moderated (if a bit overzealous) community that allows for both the average person to ask seemingly impossible, very specific questions as well as academics to express their knowledge and passion for those very same super specific topics they find fascinating; but have difficulty finding an audience to listen to them in their day to day lives.
I’m imagining the chest-burster scene from alien, but a it’s a Weasel dressed as a caricature of an early 20th century monopolist.
Steve’s videos helped me get into star trek, he makes really good essay content.
