when i was a Kid up until like 13 years old i genuinely believed that the United States and America were the same thing i mean as in the Entire two fucking continents being United Under the Flag of the USA and i thought that Places like Canada Mexico and Brazil were in Eurasia
Did they just not teach anything in school? I had to be able to put all 50 states and their capitals on a map in like third grade
