Honestly, I’d totally have been willing to buy this, now that I’ve seen the gameplay and characters and know what it is. I went in knowing little to nothing.
I’d seen people reference it in passing on r/gamingcirclejerk when it was released, but I didn’t pay much attention back then.
Oh yeah, it went completely past me, never really had this game on my radar. Only when it was free on Epic, I looked it up and thought Hey, I might like this
Yeah, it turns out this is right up my alley! I’ve always prioritized vast worlds and interesting characters with a strong narrative more than things like combat mechanics, so it works pretty well for me.
It almost reminds me of (dare I say) a Bethesda game, like the newer Wolfenstein games or Fallout games, which I also loved.
Oh, I didn’t realize it at first either. Played a while and thought Huh, this feels familiar, but didn’t look into it until I randomly came across this information while looking up the games issues

After all, it was made by Obsidian Entertainment, the studio that gave us New Vegas. So there’s definitely a fallouty feel to it
You know what? I never even made that connection! Thanks for pointing this out.
