Spider ending was good in concept in my opinion, but would have needed a whole other Volume. And not even having kumuko dialogue for most if it was really unsatisfying

Seriously, this is peak fiction. It’s grandiose, epic, loving, heart wrenching, and devastating.

Anyone who hasn’t picked up this series, you won’t regret it

In the end I decided against buying the whole light novel set, because I feel like I want serious stories at the moment, and I have yet to finish a lot of other series.

I just finished rascal does not dream of logical witch (Rascal vo.l 3)

• I love the di(tri)alogue in this series. It feels so alive and the characters feel so relatable event though dialogues like that would probably never happen in real life

• it makes me yearn back for my time in school, or more precisely for the friendships that school can foster. I realized I don’t have any friends with whom I could/would want to spontaneously do things in the middle of the night, or have those emotionally Deep dialogues.

• this feels like applied therapy, passively guiding you to change your perspective

• **I feel like I can’t give all the books I’m finishing a 10/10 rating even though I’d want to.

I will give this a 9/10 because the start was pretty slow**

I’m in love with this novel series. The pacing is amazing,.the characters are amazing, the story is amazing. I don’t know what else to say.

This volume had probably the biggest reveal about their world yet.

I get that. It’s difficult to enjoy a deep or difficult topic when you are exhausted yourself.

The only 2 light novels that made me binge them and get hooked instantly were Spider and COTE

Them being like junk food is a perfect analogy.

Of course there are exceptions as well, but they are generally easier to read and don’t require as much energy to read.

also the feel is just totally different like you said. The themes and tropes are so much more weirder and more specific than western novels.

And lete guess, she is trying to make books more commonplace in the world?

It’s definitely hard watching an anime adapted from a LN you read.

Classroom of the elite was painful, atleast the first season didn’t watch any further.

So I’m a Spider was painful too, not as much because Kumos side was decently well done.

Been a while since I read them and my memory is a bit hazy.

But there will come a more normal type story that facilitates the worlds happenings.

It really isn’t a mainstream ln for sure. If you do didn’t enjoy the corporate setup, then I doubt you’d really enjoy it even when the story really starts.

Idk why exactly, but this anime reminds me of durara in some way. The pacingb and cuts and everything.

Those two apologizing and opening up their hearts really touched me emotionally. Doesn’t happen often for me, so the impact was definitely there.
