Other than failing to meet made-for-human-consumption safety standards, and I’m not saying that’s a minor thing, is there anything wrong with this?
It seems to me that being bonded, at all, to other molecules, is a better criteria for being “the same thing”.

Water can’t absorb neither moisture nor water so it can’t be holding as much of either as can be absorbed.
I can’t think of a compelling reason to treat the water on the surface as a distinct entity, though.

Are you speaking about individuals or groups?
You’ve clearly stated your belief in there being a point at which you will no longer treat another human being as a human. The only difference is where you believe that point to be.

Mexicans have a lot of treats that are basically frozen sweet thing with spicy thing on top. They’re pretty good.
I don’t know about mint but capsaicin doesn’t increase you sensitivity to heat, it just trips (4D pun intended) the same receptors.
