      “We’re small, it doesn’t matter~”
“The people who come here would be sad!”

I saw a lot of subreddits doing this during the protest and it really pissed me off.

Yeah the poll on r/196 was kind of stupid, of course they’re going to vote open, everyone who would vote close has left.

Honestly, we should just start advertising Lemmy on the different alternatives and drive the community here, making it the new home, while still keeping the subreddit restricted with a link to lemmy instead of the god awful and confusing discord server (that isn’t even a 196 discord, why the hell did they pick it instead of making a new one?) while also informing about the tumblr tags for a more personalized experience. 2 alts feel better than a 5. We should also explain how the situation with the tankies looks like and why that’s not a problem on the 196 instance.

Honestly, I thought that goblinhog was chill before the protest. Now after seeing the type of tomfoolery he’s been up to, I just kind of lost respect for him.

there’s been quite a few things over the years I don’t remember them but yeah there’s been quite a few moments where they’ve shown to be like this it makes sense though they were made a mod literally just cause they were popular seemingly without any thought then through that I think became head mod even though they were like 13 or 14 or something they never should’ve been made a mod in the first place

Homes, you’re preaching to the choir here. We are at the maximum level of being inside federated media.
