Edit: For those curious my boss was not amused with when I got there. My supervisor on the other hand laughed their ass off. And then went to bat for me as they were in the room when the boss called me and heard them not specify how early.

Early compared to official start time, or compared to when I normally show up?
In my case they wanted me earlier than my official start time by a few hours, I got there 30 minutes early. On the phone they said “as soon as you can” so I got there as soon as I could bases on when they called lol
So basically I left for work about a half hour early.
