Looks like anime irises are about 8 cm or 3" in diameter. IRL, that’s about a fully open mouth.
I opened my mouth to see how large it can open, got about 1" (2.54CM).
(That’s a big mouth…)

For a spider it’s big though. I wouldn’t want to be near it.
