The way I understand it is that it is less out of spite, and more because the octopus are herding the fish (to hunt with them) and it isnt behaving. Very interesting behavior.

Im not going to change the fun alliteration of the title to something like “primarily aquatic animals,” just because theyre not technically fish. I think with the amount of times i said cephalopod its pretty onvious it is, in fact, a cephalopod. Sorry, not sorry

Edit: I also think its completely reasonable to talk about cephalopods when talking about the general idea of fish. I mean, jellfish and shellfish both have fish in their names and neither classification is a fish. Again, if we really wanna be sticklers, fish arent even a thing. Im not “right,” Im simply sharing how I feel, my opinion on the matter. I also think comparing vote counts isnt a healthy outlook. If 60 people upvoted your post, and 90 people upvoted a meme, I understand the feeling of "I put so much more effort into my meme specifically for here,* but 60 people still took the time to click the button that says you made their day better. And the mene with 90 votes? It was selectively taken to be posted here from presumably many more that werent as good, or it wouldnt be shared cross platforms. Not really fair.

OC is great, and always welcome. But one thing I really appreciate about memes, is that they transcend ownership. Theyre made to spread and go viral, with no intentions but to be funny (generally speaking of course). Its such a breath of fresh air in this world where everything is copyrighted, everything is there to make money or give someone fame. Memes themselves truly transcend our capitalist structure and I dont want that gone, either.
