Sidenote, what helps people to deal with ADHD (or to benefit from it)?

    • Medicine
    • cognitive behavioral therapy
    • lot’s of different “tools”, because they’ll all won’t work someday. e.g.:

I’ve got multiple other neuro divergent colleagues and we’ll often have a phone call open just to work alongside each other, because we all benefit from that external form of commitment. But that sometimes to much of a distraction and than it’s time to blast loud music in a darkned room with nothing else but “work stuff” in it.

You can also “use” other people for coworking simply by going to a place where people work in public like a library, unless your work is bound to a place or distracts others.

Never got into the silent call for work thing, but probably I’m just too antisocial. This all tracks, I do/did most of the other stuff.

Getting into meditation is also something I can recommend, just for the practice it gives you with wrangling your internal cacophony.

      some non-ripoff meditation resources

https://mindfulnessexercises.com/audio-library/ has a free library of guided meditations. I can personally recommend Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield.
