I’m one of the daily shower people, and I wash my sheets weekly. I shower before bed. The routine helps me get tired and ready for sleep. And it helps keep my bed nice and soft and clean until the next wash.
Don’t understand people that think that means you go through your day smelly. If you’re heavily sweating in your sleep, perhaps you should consider less blankets? Doesn’t sound very comfortable. I wake up dry and still smelling fresh from the shower.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of health issues that cause people to sweat all night, and be stinky in the morning, regardless of blankets.
Ask me how I know :(
