I’m one of the daily shower people, and I wash my sheets weekly. I shower before bed. The routine helps me get tired and ready for sleep. And it helps keep my bed nice and soft and clean until the next wash.

Don’t understand people that think that means you go through your day smelly. If you’re heavily sweating in your sleep, perhaps you should consider less blankets? Doesn’t sound very comfortable. I wake up dry and still smelling fresh from the shower.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of health issues that cause people to sweat all night, and be stinky in the morning, regardless of blankets.

Ask me how I know :(

It must be nice to have hair that doesn’t devolve into frizzy chaos every night.

A shower in the morning is the only way I can make my hair look somewhat decent for the day. I have a feeling this is more common for black people, therefore OP is racist

This is what bonnets and protective hair styles are for, but i guess it depends on your end goal.

Because we sweat a lot during sleep. Showering before going to bed is like brushing your teeth just before having a big meal.

Don’t have to wash it. My hair gets once a week. I shower every night.

          Shower caps. Marvellous

Showers wake me up, which is why I have mine in the morning so I can start the day refreshed.

Never feel clean after sweating all night while cooking in 40 degree weather anyway, so wouldn’t want to start the day so unclean.

I feel like morning shower gives my hair more fluff and I just hate showering in evening for some reason. Either morning or afternoon.

I shower every day. I try to do it late morning so I can get the sun coming in through the skylight. Bathing in the light of the sun feels like a purification ritual.
