Sort of. You have to exist to observe, therefore you can only observe a reality that you exist in.
I kinda like the idea that what we experience as reality, choice, and consciousness is an “average” all possible realities. Free will exists because your sense of self exists across multiple realities, there is a different reality for each decision (or probability based event) than you make. When you make that choice, it prunes your reality from all the other possibly realities, and the infinite tree of possible future outcomes gets smaller yet again.
I’m like this without any drugs at all. Don’t let your kids read pulp books by theoretical physicists. It fucks with their head.
