I’m in Finland. There’s this pizza/kebab/burger thing I go to sometimes. When I order burgers from there I always get flabbergasted. The burgers are massive. Huge. Cooked to perfection. Mini fry trays of fries, with way too much dip sauce.
You know things are top notch when you just resign your McDonald’s expectations, admit in your sinful mortal heart that you were humbled, go pick up a knife and fork, and start attacking this behemoth.
So when I’m done, I’m impressed.
I expect that this is the baseline standard in America.

I don’t think they even look that bad, objectively. Crooked burgers? Huh? That’s two patties, dawg… Sometimes the top one isn’t directly centered. Nobody cares.
