A florid but incredibly accurate way of putting it, lol.
MTG isn’t a game for people who enjoy a fun and well-matched contest of skill. It’s for people who like to demolish their opponent and feel smug about it.
And some of them treat the game like golf, trying to play the least amount of the game.
Limited drafts and mid-power cubes is where it is for me. Known amount of mechanics and no bombs or crazy game ending combos.
