It took me 6 months just to get HRT, I bet the surgery for gynecomastia doesn’t even take half of that to get. I hate this double standard 😔

Gynecomastia, it’s a hormonal imbalance in men. It causes abnormal breast growth.
The reason it looks different than regular breasts (I think, this is just my theory) is that it’s actually caused by low T, which causes breasts to grow. There isn’t actually enough estrogen to mature and maintain the breasts, so they look…well, not good.
Again, this is just my theory, take it with a grain of salt.
But yes, gynecomastia.

Damn, shame its so hard to get hormones, could have saved that dude unnecessary surgery.
Testosterone doesn’t reverse or prevent gynecomastia, using T when you don’t need it could actually cause gynecomastia because excess testosterone converts to estrogen.
Yeah, aromatization (conversion of too much T into E) is weird.
I guess it makes sense that it wouldn’t be the other way around, since during pregnancy, E levels are astronomical.
But still…what was the plan here, evolution? I guess…to combat complete androgen insensitivity syndrome?
