My cat has a simple bloodthirst tell. He winks at you when he’s thinking about biting or scratching too hard. He’s previsualizing the attack then flinches because he knows if he bites hard enough to draw blood a finger will appear out of nowhere and flick his little nose, which he hates. So usually he’ll start winking at you but then think better of it and calm himself. But it’s hilarious that he basically tells everyone when he’s contemplating their murder.
