transcription: the “(character) is homophobic?” trend cracks me up because when i was 15 i tried to tell my mom i was lesbian by saying “mom… i dont like guys…” and she just said “AMEN” assuming i was just being misandrist and did and illegal u-turn to get to a tamale shop before i could reply

    I usually see it as a man saying “I don’t like women”, then someone else mistakes them for a sexist and says “that’s not good”, then THEY get mistaken for a homophobe. Hence “(character) is homophobic?”

      its possible I just saw a disproportionate amount of ones about lesbians LOL

      i feel like ive seen it the way youre describing it as well it just didnt come to mind first
