Also, you should probably download a better QR app. One that decodes QR codes but doesn’t just blindly take you to whatever you scan. SecScanQR is the one I use.
qr scanner (free software and receiving regular updates btw) makes me check a box, that i have read the link, before even alowing me to open it (vewy safe)

if you have a samsung, the camera app does it for you and shows you the text or url

You may be able to “Share” the image using your QR decoder app. That’s how it works with the one I use.
