    it wouldn’t have mattered which investor pulled-out from it, to that degree: it was, at that degree of leverage, essentially a pyramid-scheme.

    Blame belongs on both sides, of that one, I think…

      Makes the Forest Gump analogy even more appriopriate. If it was him, it’s not that he was responsible for the collapse, just that he was coincidentally at the center of it, and a trigger for it.

      Yeah, The Big Short covers this pretty well too. It was a Jenga tower and all it was gonna take was one person pulling one more block.
