Yeah, after some hours I see what you mean, there are a lot of things that give depth and options to gameplay but can definitely leave you micromanaging it all. I don’t mind so much though
I didn’t want to spoil, but as you’re in the game now, I feel there are two teams, one making the story, and one is making loads of “RPG” stuff, and they don’t communicate. A bit like “let’s throw this moving fight in there!” Very cool fight idea, but completely out of the story. Same with the gazillion upgrades and recipes, streaks and so on.
Yes the upgrades and recipes! I kind of like the breaks for sequences of different gameplay just because it keeps me from doing the same thing all the time. Feels like a lot of chaotic troll energy went into making this game somehow and idk I enjoy it for that
Really liked the start but then it became too grindy for me (not very grindy to be fair but unnecessary complicated maybe?).
Probably a little gem for lots of people.
