1 year on e and I am actually SO weak now, I had to ask my dad to put some weights back on the rack for me when we went to the gym 😭
I used to be able to do 450lb leg press 5 times in a row what happened
I don’t absolutely hate myself anymore so that’s going for me :steamhappy:

I don’t get it, I have women coworkers that are stronger than me, how is estrogen making you that weak?
i think that it’s actually a medical complication and not entirely intended that way. the HRT for me has very (very) strong psychotropic effects. it really shakes my head around. one of the psychological effects is also that i breathe differently (not sure how to explain this one) and the weak heart is connected to this. i suspect it’s temporary and my body just needs time to adjust … there’s a quite a lot of backstory to all this but i don’t wanna go into too much detail rn. i’ll figure it out, i’ll be fine, don’t worry :)
I remember the comment about not treating women as a different species, but when someone changes their biological gender, they have a downright mind shift.
Like, if it would not mess me up for life physically, I’d freaking try it for the trip, out of curiosity.
I’m sorry to hear about your heart, I hope it turns out fine.
Its good you recognize this broadly speaking because it actually applies in a lot of ways.
In a sense, the same way that a Trans person in has a hormone deficiency, other folks have other chemical deficiencies that cause them mental distress. People with depression at some point start to wonder whats wrong with them, and sometimes the answer is literally that they have dopamine or serotonin deficiency which is easily treatable. Its just stigmatized differently.
I do believe is a reasonable comparison for people who dont understand the trans experience… not to suggest i have a privileged opinion, just a thought
