Yeah, because a woman has never continued pretending to be a man in some situations while openly identifying as a woman in others for the sake of safety or convenience. So anyone spending any effort investigating that would be wasting their time.
Considering the date (23 years ago) and the fact that it’s on wikipedia, I think if that were the case it would be written differently, then again no wikipedia page for either name so please do research and tell me if I’m wrong
