I was going to say Liberia exists but honestly you probably would get preferential treatment from assumptions about the economic part of socioeconomic.

Are you sure about that? I can tell you first hand it can be a serious detriment or even dangerous to be white in some English speaking countries.

I hear that all the time from right wing snowflakes crying about not getting preferential treatment, so pardon me if I call bullshit.

Yeah there’s that discussion as well. It’s easy to get lumped into a group one doesn’t self identify with or whose behaviors don’t agree with if one happens to use similar verbage. I would hold reservations to see if someone is actually in a group instead of just assuming off of a single sentence, but that’s just me personally.

You do you, but there are some sentences that tell you everything you need to know about a person. Like there are sentences that tell you that someone’s judgement or opinion is flawed or non-existent, so their argument should be treated as such and discarded with minimal merit.

Saying “it’s dangerous to be in the majority ethnicity” and not giving any examples is one of those for me.

It’s easy to get lumped into a group one doesn’t self identify with or whose behaviors don’t agree with if one happens to use similar verbage.

It is, and if that’s something that happens frequently, you may want to consider your thoughts and actions to determine if you need to change yourself or how you self identify.

Because frankly, how you self identify means jack shit to an outsider. All they care about are your statements and actions, and if you’re getting lumped in with the wrong crowd, self reflection is necessary.

Agree to disagree then. I don’t think being so reductive as to decide who someone is in their totality off of a single sentence is a generally good behavior. Then again you’re free to do whatever you want and think whatever you want.
