Idk what the original intent is but I’m consciously choosing to interpret it as being overwhelmed by feelings of “aww my sweet baby wants to be reminded of me” bc honestly if I ever got the privilege of having a kiddo in my life that’s exactly how that would go down

I thought maybe it was an old sweater mom stole from an ex of hers back in the day that her child just discovered. But then I couldn’t understand why she was crying over it. Yeah, the message of this comic is too ambiguous. I have no idea what’s actually going on.
EDIT: The sweater text said “BOY” with the male symbol for the “O.” Which I thought indicated an old boyfriend. But I’m assuming it’s implying that Mom is trans and used to be a boy? I still don’t understand the crying though.

Is 4tran on the 4chan website? Cuz all the racist and sexist shit I’ve seen there make it hard for me to believe that that community could exist there without constant brigading
there’s big offshoots on reddit, xitter and the fediverse but yes, a lot of it is on 4chan (the /lgbt/ board specifically)
and it’s just as nasty as you’d expect
My initial impression was the old ex they might’ve lost?? The jacket foes have emo vibes. The boy bit feels like its emphasizing, because even if trans, gives me, “you look just like X when I met them” sort of vibe
It’s a pretty awesome feeling to see my kids rock my old clothes and look totally cool in them.

Well yea, cuz most 4tranners are exceptionally scared and sad, as well as having low self esteem, so they boymode a lot. But boymoding is relatable to most of us trans girls/women, so it doesn’t have to be specifically 4tran.
