I’ve recently been put onto the quote “Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly” and that’s given me some space for myself. I tell myself that I want to touch my toes once a day, but I would be lucky to remember or even bring myself up to do it once a week.
this, plus actual fundamental adjustments to how you do things, are the only things i can think of that really really helped me make things actually happen.
Unfortunately society makes us think that you need a medical diagnosis or obvious physical disability to justify doing things differently than normal, even though something as simple as putting the toothbrush in the kitchen might make a night and day difference.
There’s so many large and small changes one can potentially make that can revolutionize quality of life, but they’re not even considered because “i’m not disabled”
