It took me 6 months just to get HRT, I bet the surgery for gynecomastia doesn’t even take half of that to get. I hate this double standard 😔

      Assuming this is a legitimate question. It’s usually caused by an imbalance in the testosterone/estrogen hormones. Most humans have both, but the ratio determines a lot of your body characteristics.

      It can just be a natural change over time, it could be caused by different kinds of drugs (performance enhancing, recreational, or medical). It could be caused by a sudden change in diet and exercise. It could just be your body deciding to store all your fat in one obnoxious place.

      It could also be a symptom of some diseases. There’s tons of reasons, and a large percentage of humans experience some form of it.

      Gynecomastia, it’s a hormonal imbalance in men. It causes abnormal breast growth.

      The reason it looks different than regular breasts (I think, this is just my theory) is that it’s actually caused by low T, which causes breasts to grow. There isn’t actually enough estrogen to mature and maintain the breasts, so they look…well, not good.
      Again, this is just my theory, take it with a grain of salt.

      But yes, gynecomastia.
