I just looked into this, Neil Druckmann set up the WLF-Seraphite conflict as the allegory. No dehumanization there, at least, and the WLF (IDF stand in) is shown repeatedly in a negative light. I won’t blame the guy for where he was born.
I feel like I should mention that while they probably chose .ml as a reference to Marxist-Leninism, it actually stands for Mali. I think there were issues because of that at one point
