JK Rowling has black mold in her mansion, and doesn’t have to get it removed because her house is considered a historical landmark. People have joked that the black mold is why she’s so facefuckingly crazy in her transphobia.

what does it look like?
It’s similar, but instead of full black spots it has a small spot in the center of mold rings until they turn into spore pod things. Like a tiny mushroom circle. It can’t grow in a filled spot because it is toxic even to itself.

Still not the best picture, because everyone thinks that any mold that is black is black mold, and I’m at work so I’ve got until the elevator gets to my floor, but you can see in this picture how it separates into small segments of independent rings which are all their own individual colony.
