I enjoy how that hotdog really doesn’t look edible, but it was created in 2014, so it’s anyone’s guess whether that’s a rubber prop or an actual state-of-the-art vegan hotdog from back then.

Hmm, I gotta admit, I haven’t really dabbled with the sausage alternatives, so I was not aware that the wieners still look similar to that. I was comparing it to the other sausage kinds, which look virtually identical to the original these days…
i don’t think they are supposed to mimic meat wieners
there are probably other companies that make wieners that look and taste exactly like meat wieners
taifun just makes good tofu products

In English, “hot dog” can refer to both, the sausage in the bun and just the sausage, in case that’s confusing you.
