Any chances that it shows an appalling gap in emotional regulation awareness? The most charitable read I have here is they don’t know how to self-soothe, so they want to bend reality to their preferences to feel calm and happy (regardless of whether they mess up others’ lives).

Why does every maga person I have ever had a conversion with bring up transgender folks in sports unprompted? The obsession is baffling.
That and their kids bathroom… I’m always like “Is trans people doing bad shit in the bathrooms your kids use a big problem?”

You don’t get it. The existence of trans people threatens the existence of penises everywhere.
If you don’t oppress and silence trans people, your penis might fall off. That’s a scientific fact.
Or even worse, they might realise that they’re attracted to them or being trans themselves.
