      why? if it’s not in contact with your skin it’s not really getting dirty unless you spill stuff on it or somesuch.

      That’s why we have the concept of underwear, those are the things we change often because they passively get dirty from dead skin and oil and whatnot.

        but doesnt that mean youd have to wear a long sleeved shirt or base layer under your long sleeved shirts snd sweaters? AND youd have to wear leggings under your pants if they arent shorts? (I already do this cause it helps with chafing)

        Youre right. But what Ive found is that therr are days when my sweating becomes so intense that BOTH the base layer and the clothing over it become soaked and smelly.

        It depends on how much activity you do while wearing that thing AND on how sweaty you tyoically become when you are out and about on your day
