I’ll never understand this, I buy a 10 pack of the same colored shirts and 10 pairs of the same jeans and thats what I wear every day.

Bruh you must be me. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏿

There will never be anything wrong with wearing what you enjoy to wear everyday. No matter how monotonous. Nohody can convince me other wise.

( as long as you dont work in a lab or a factory of course lol)

I don’t even do this deliberately. Every time I need a new shirt I buy the same one because I forget I have it already and I like the colour. I have 4 green shirts now…

For me it’s more like a hobby and I don’t think understanding why people like their hobbies is required

I’m not knocking it, I just don’t understand it. I am not required to understand your hobby for you to enjoy it.

I work in the clothing industry. When I learned you can bulk order as a vendor, I replaced half my wardrobe with cheap, comfortable, quality shirts and heat pressed custom designs on all of them so they’re unique. Now I have my own personal brand on half my wardrobe!

I have a few Linux, EndeavourOS and Bazzite shirts as well :)

When i find a shirt or pants i like i buy multibles. I still try not to wear them back to back. And i can’t even tell you why. Even if i don’t hang out with the same people, and it’s a different shirt, it feels like in tge meme, it has some sort of cooldown on it.

I always want to do this, but I can never decide that I really like a piece of clothing before it’s sold out.

It’s a problem for sure. I buy a lot in outlet stores, and can never decide before wearing it a few times. And then it’s often gone.

I may notice but why would I care? Theyre out living life quietly and peacefully… So am I🫱🏽‍🫲🏿

I think that we can agree that there are louder and ruder people out there that everyone will be and should be ‘noticing’ 😉

why? if it’s not in contact with your skin it’s not really getting dirty unless you spill stuff on it or somesuch.

That’s why we have the concept of underwear, those are the things we change often because they passively get dirty from dead skin and oil and whatnot.

For work. I try to match the same color combos, so mostly blue or green and khaki and brown.

My one pair of black dress pants fuck everything up.

Off the clock is random shit I find at thrift stores. Half of them have weird stains from the previous owner I can’t get out. So I look like the guy that security comes up to and asks “Sir, are you lost?”

100%. I have the same shirt in a few different colors and a few pairs of pants that are basically the same. Just rotate through those all week for days I need to go outside, otherwise its pair of comfy pants / shorts and and old version of one of those same shirts from above.

Had this moment recently when I wore some new stitch fix stuff about town for the first time, and my day out ended up being a lot shorter than I planned. Was lowkey bummed about it until I realized that no one I knew saw me, and just wore it again the next day.

I see “Acne Studs” which makes even less sense but is more funny.

Edit: I searched “Acne stud” and it’s apparently a clothing brand named “Acne Studios”. Out of all names to choose… They’re from the same country as me too, Sweden, which is a funny coincidence.

these kinds of companies drive me up the wall, like “Smeg” or the fucking food company unironically called “soylent”
i’m sure it’s a marketing tactic but good lord i wouldn’t touch it even if i got it for free, i am NOT using a food processor with SMEG on it
