tbh i wish my parents had gotten a divorce when i was a kid. they were never really happy together and honestly never seemed to even like each other. somehow theyre still together but they really shouldnt be. if they had gotten a divorce i might have at least been able to get away from my dad and had a little more emotional safety and stability.

Same. My mom is very emotionally abusive and was occasionally physically abusive. When my dad passed away, I was happy that he didn’t have to put up with her anymore.
After I grew and moved away, I asked him several times why he never left her. “she’s not terrible, and the sex is good”. Gee, thanks for sharing 😂

After the NATO summit earlier this year, there were fears of “a credible threat” against Air Force One which led to passengers of that and a secondary aircraft to get scrambled around to keep Trump safe (and consequently have members of the press board AFO.)
