nah long nails are super impractical for working with computers (or anything else, really) (i guess, i haven’t tried it) and makeup … kinda makes my skin itchy (and that does not depend on the brand of makeup, more on the fact that the skin can’t breathe), but hell yeah dyed hair
I have cat claws and my ability with the pc is just as good (but I keep two nails short). Itchy skin with makeup = bacteria. Do you have rosacea? Might be worth looking into.

I like my nails being long enough to shape, but with work, I can’t really have long nails. They’ll chip and break, and cut through my plastic gloves… Getting a manicure next week and at the very least they’ll be nicely shaped and polished, if not long.
