Childbirth is no joke. I was by my partners side for all 4 of our children’s births. All of them could easily have killed her or the baby if we weren’t in a more developed country.
Childbirth is a miracle, there’s no other way around it. I’m very glad your wife is okay, I know (not from experience, obvs) how taxing and demanding physically and mentally it is. I have so much respect for everyone that goes through with it.
Best of luck. From your posts and comments, I can already tell you’re an amazing mom, even tho it’s difficult. You’re amazing 💜
Thanks darling. Just remember that motherhood isn’t out of reach for you either. The important part is the 18 years after childbirth. There are plenty of children who don’t have parents who would be greatful to be raised in a loving family.
I know that…but still, I’m a really selfish person. Adoption is (in my mind) amazing, a good deed. But…I can barely take care of myself, I don’t think I’m ready to take care of another human being.
For some reason, I keep thinking that if it was a child I carried for 9 months, things would be different. I’d do everything to take care of that kid, no matter what it would cost me. It’s selfish and it doesn’t make sense, don’t worry about it. Sorry
Apparently cycling between the positions is the way to work them loose. It clearly works because they were all born without C-section and the runt of the litter was 4.3kg.
Hey, umm…I may be misreading this, but this seems slightly offensive tbh. She did just say that childbirth would have easily killed her wife if it wasn’t a more developed country. I don’t think now is the time to joke about stuff like that…
Actually during the second, the sheets had to be changed half way through because they were basically saturated with blood. And she described the pain as being a bit like being crushed by a collapsed building or being hit by a truck. She’d just decided she wanted 4 and she is easily the most stubborn person I’ve ever met.

Thanks that’s really nice of you.

Trust me plenty of highly dysfunctional parents raise perfectly well adjusted children and vice versa.
I hope you used them to try all 4 positions and can provide detailed comparison.

I don’t know, if the third time they almost died didn’t stop them from going for the 4th I probably wasn’t that bad.

Do you have any actual proof of that, whether from the person giving birth or someone present?
Sorry for being a prude, this just seems super disrespectful tbh
You will never be accused of that
Seriously, you are right, that is disrespectful
I guess, considering who I am and what I do, I really can’t be a prude, huh? 😂
Thank you 🙏
I had a feeling…
So flippant about women facing death to bring in life. Read the room.
