And, in technical terms, a botfarm moving operations from one destroyed data centre to another, is a trivial procedure, that would take a couple hours at most, if not easily automated to fall-back within seconds.
I remember when that happened seeing people post that graph everywhere and never any real sources posted and thinking “this is a little too perfectly and neatly confirming peoples priors to be true.” And like you said, it doesn’t make a ton of sense when you think about it a bit.
