Turns out getting takeout takes longer than cooking at home. I of course would make a vegan version, but that would also save like half the price of the meat.

Of the, maybe 4 times I’ve been to Chipotle, they’ve either gotten my order wrong (to-go orders) or just tasted bad and cold. No idea how they’re as popular as they are when Moe’s and Salsaritas exists.

100% this. I’ve had the same experience myself. I’ve gone 3 times total, and every time, I ask that they not turn the burrito I order into a rice burrito, but that’s exactly what they do. I don’t want rice in my burrito, and I say as much, but that seems to be code for, “please add 7 pounds of rice to my burrito.” And even after getting them to fix it, what’s the payoff? Flavorless nonsense. I truly don’t understand their popularity.

You have to make sure you’re going to a good chipotle. One giveaway is whether the staff are adults (usually good) or teens (usually pretty bad).
