    I once bought a three-pack of rubber ducks to the office as a joke and made an expense claim where I explained the concept of rubber duck debugging. Funnily enough, it got approved. I now wonder if I could get the company to pay for a personal blåhaj for every developer :3

      Now that your company knows about rubber ducks, you need to prove that blåhajs can outperform then on some metric.

    That is certainly a good way to debug - that being said when all else fails I explain my current mess to my better 3/4 and they often come up with some really unique way of tackling the problem. Yeah, it is kind of a cheat code. They are not a programmer or interested in anything IT, but they are a really smart cookie. I try my best to be the smart wall to throw their problems at when the roles are reversed.
