    I relate to this so hard.

    Not because my job wouldn’t let me be what I want.

    But simply because it’s really hard to find the time and headspace to figure your shit out when you’re working.

    TBF being gay doesn’t really impact your job prospects much (unless you’re going to, like, keep a photo of you and your spouse very obviously being more than friends on your desk). Would be different if you were trans…

      I had people point blank tell me they’d “never hire a tr***y” when I came in for an interview.

      My current job, the overall manager told me “politics has no place here” when I wore my “Be yourself they’ll adjust” trans flag shirt to my on boarding after boymoding the interview, but then got really cagey about what she meant/why she mentioned that when one of the other management team standing next to me asked what she meant. A couple other employees misgender me here and there but for the most part they’re very apologetic about it. Only one has been obvious about doing it intentionally.

      Customers on the other hand… Fuck red states…
