I wanted to say that there were probably no female “doctors” in 1885 USA, but the guy who invented Dr Pepper wasn’t a real doctor anyway. It’s not “Dr. Pepper”, after all.

Considering how basically every old profession has gendered terms. I’m surprised I never considered the factor doctress would be a real word.

      Huh

My new head canon is that Dr. Pepper is a sexy sapphic woman doctor who just wants all the girls to enjoy a delicious beverage… while she fucks them. I never said she was an ethical doctor, just that she’s a sexy sapphic woman doctor.

I have often considered if “Dr. Pepper” is an MD or PhD.

I get 1800’s USA everyone tried to make everything sound medical, but “Dr. Pepper” seems more like a PhD in Economics. Like it is good, but mass marketed.

Dr. Pepper’s been around since like the 1880s, so no, I did not. Not saying a woman couldn’t be a Dr. Pepper but THAT Dr. Pepper is almost certainly not a woman.
