Man, that payphone is in a really inconvenient location. I wonder how many people have died just trying to get to it.

It’s might not be a payphone, it might be an emergency phone. Never been to Korea, but some really long bridges in the US will have these spread across the bridge span so that if you break down and don’t have access to a working cellphone, you can walk to them and call for assistance after pulling over. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel comes to mind Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

On some bridges that have high suicide rates they have phones connected to crisis services

Eh, it’s a style a lot of AI generators will use so it’s not entirely your fault. I thought it was AI at first glance, but when I looked at the details and everything made sense that’s when I knew it wasn’t slop.

how is it not their fault? ai art bad is entirely to protect artists, and the person wasnt willing to check. hence doing potetially the exact opposite of protecting artists

im sorry but if someone doesnt have time to check, they shouldnt be calling out. they can ignore, hide , whatever if they are bothered at most

I do agree that AI slop is a problem, and explaining my viewpoint on it would be a whole post on it’s own.

As for my comment, I said it was not entirely their fault, in that human neurology includes pattern recognition that is so strong that it is easy to stereotype something. The commenter may have seen that art style used a lot in AI slop and stereotyped it. The process can be overcome by paying closer attention to what you are looking at.

Given that this is 196 community with random memes and pics, not everyone is paying close attention. The commenter could have paid more attention before calling it slop, but it’s also not a high stakes situation. People makes mistakes, and the commented even acknowledged it.

              tl;dr

Chill out, we all make mistakes, and it’s only an internet comment.
